The Roman steam bath has a long history. Old Greeks have been already used to steam baths. For Romans the visit of a steam bath was an integral part of their bathing culture. The healthy and popular steam bath is like the sauna a sweating bath. But there is another atmosphere. In the steam bath it is not so hot (45°C) but more humid (relative humidity of 100%).
Finnish sauna The traditional form of sweating is practiced in the Finish sauna. The high temperature between 85 and 88°C and the relative low humidity from 10 to 30% are typical for the Finish sauna. In this heat infusions with menthol or eucalyptus have a pleasant effect for the respiratory tracts. A sauna session takes almost 8 to 15 minutes.
Scented bath with special lighting Aroma-molecules of selected substances have positive effects on your health. In the aromatic bath these are well absorbed by the body.
Brine bath A brine bath can be helpful for many skin diseases, rheumatism, gout and joint problems, for the consolidation of the immune system and the purge of the body. With 37°C water temperature the brine spreads out its positive effect and encourages the circulation as well as the blood flow.
